Someone’s Head Is going to Roll…

An AOS Queen contacted me recently. She seems to have seen my little tumblr essay and her temper has perhaps gotten the better of her. We all know how fairytales work, don’t we? When an evil queen feels threatened, she tries to poison the heroine with an apple, or prick her nimble finger to make her fall into a deep sleep, so she can do away with anything that threatens her. This queen, who could not even leave her name (Total Denial? ajjb? Covington? Bridget? Bright Eyes?), forgets I’m not Snow White or Sleeping Beauty. I’m Alice, and I can’t fall under a wicked spell. I might curtsy to you, placate you by drinking your mad tea, even play croquet with you – but by this tale’s end, the heroine will walk away unfettered. This is one of our Queen’s first moves:

“I will take a walk with you: entering such destinations as GGAnon, a
group called the AOS, a place called Fanforum, Twitter “abuse,” and many
other segways that will expose posters and groups who have turned this
fandom into the monster it has become. ” (Isn’t it nice to be quoted?)

You expelled anyone who didn’t ship Chair. So your blog gave way that
anyone who doesn’t love that Chuck treats Blair like shit are the problem instead of the character Chuck becoming a disgusting unshippable monster to many. There’s literally NO WAY to discuss what fandom turned into without talking about the spoiler ring, the way it was run, the girlsssss who made a site and spun illegal spoilers their way to make people hate on who they wanted them too, and SCAB, and how the AOS was created out of FUCKING DESPERATION to actually keep posting in a thread where discussion essentially expelled anyone who didn’t ship Chair for YEARS at fan forum.

So I can only conclude you just has a bone to pick, and will do so in a
wordy, long-winded, and completely uninteresting way. Which is too bad
because something like this could actually be interesting if it weren’t
a personal attack against anyone who doesn’t ship Chair.

Thank you for giving me more material. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this. You see, I was really hoping an AOS member would contact me and prove just how Evil Queens work when their empire is threatened. What this Mad Queen doesn’t recall from my previous essay is that I used to be a part of this fandom. Once upon a time, I started out in the world of Gossip Girl. In my fairytale, it is not about which couple one ships. As they say, fiction is fiction, and one can interpret it as they wish; it’s how Queens conduct themselves towards real people that make this fairytale grim. If any fans personally attacked you because you didn’t like characters they did, was it necessary for you to strike back at them? Did their boards get shut down by livejournal administrators like the first gganon did because they posted your personal email for people to bother you or sent out personal information on where you live? I know drama queens like to play victim and point a finger in another direction when mirrors are held up to them, but what you and your friends have done is spread hatred and discontent that affect real people. You use your computer screen as a shield and anonymously hide, but I know who you are. Your Queen of Hearts-esque temper has just made it easier for me to show just what kind of a childish sort of monster fuels the anger and hostility on Gossip Girl boards. I know the truth behind those spoilers and how fans threw angry tantrums when their powerful toys were taken away from them, but that is for a post yet to come. I gave you your fifteen minutes in my tale, but don’t worry, my AOS Queen, I have more dirt on you and your friends than anyone can imagine.

If you have any information on the AOS, GGanon, or just a problem you’ve faced with these Queens, feel free to contact me: aliceinggland@gmail.com.

I will keep you anonymous and substitute it with an Alice in Wonderland character of your choice.
